Guided Meditation - 10 Minutes
for - 5 Minutes Video |
01.ஆரம்ப ஏற்பாடுகள் ;
02.ஓங்கார உபாசனை ;
03.சுவாசப்பயிற்சி ;
04. மானச பூசை;
நிறைவு;

Arguments Over Consciousness in the Age of AI -
Concentration
How has all the knowledge in the world been gained but by the concentration of the powers of the mind?
How has all the knowledge in the world been gained but by the concentration of the powers of the mind?
The world is ready to give up its secrets if we only know how to knock, how to give it the necessary blow. The strength and force of the blow come through concentration.
There is no limit to the power of the human mind. The more concentrated it is, the more power is brought to bear on one point; that is the secret.
The flow of this continuous control of the mind becomes steady when practiced day after day, and the mind obtains the faculty of constant concentration. –Swami Vivekananda

Meditation Leads to Freedom
Swami Turiyananda writes about meditation as a source of freedom from the world-based emotions that hold us in bondage:
Happiness and misery alternate in this world. Have you ever seen anyone completely free from them? It is impossible; this world is made up of pairs of opposites. By meditating on the Atman one can get rid of them. This does not mean that there will be no happiness or misery, but by God’s grace they won’t be able to perturb one.
Thus, meditation is essential in overcoming the undependable nature of what the world offers and developing a more consistent and enduring sense of well-being.
People’s own experience in practicing meditation has been that it enhances sense of control and increase their enjoyment of day-to-day living. More importantly, they find slowly developing a sense of inner strength and peace that is stable. They begin to discover a place within themselves that is ever present, comforting, and renewing, despite the circumstances and continual ups and downs in their daily lives.
Meditation can be a bridge between Eastern and Western paths to well-being. It has an ancient scientific history as being the central means to well-being in the East and a more recent history of documented scientific study in the West. The current difference is that in Western science it is viewed primarily as a means to physical and mental well-being that has physically observable results. Eastern thought begins at a deeper, more subtle level of satisfaction.
From this perspective, the object of meditation is rooted in the spiritual plane. The results cannot be detected by the tools of a science based on physical observations. Indeed, we use the term ‘spiritual’ because the very thing we are describing is metaphysical rather than physical in its manifestation.
Clearly, we can find temporary pleasure in the things of the world. However, a stable sense of well-being can only be found within. Meditation is a practice that can lead to an inner sense of peace and tranquility, it costs nothing, it is portable and it is available under all conditions.
The effects of meditation on well-being have been described by Swami Lokeswarananda in ‘Practical Spirituality’:
If you practice meditation regularly and in a correct manner, you become your own master and cease to be the slave of circumstances that you are now.
Once we accept the great truth that ‘life is difficult’ and that we cannot find our happiness in the things of this world, we can transcend this predicament. The search for well-being is our human right. The secret is that the well-being we seek lies deep within ourselves. The key is to move away from external sources of happiness and toward the internal source of well-being that lies awaiting. The nature of this quest is spiritual as opposed to physical and it is a journey we must ultimately make alone.

Carnatic music -
History, elements of Carnatic music and the most famous Carnatic musicians.
- All poetry, painting, and music is feeling expressed through words, through colour, through sound.
- Drama and music are by themselves religion; any song, love song or any song, never mind; if one’s whole soul is in that song, he attains salvation, just by that; nothing else he has to do; if a man’s whole soul is in that, his soul gets salvation. They say it leads to the same goal.
- High achievements in art, music, etc., are the results of concentration. . . When we hear beautiful music, our minds become fastened upon it, and we cannot take them away.
- In India, music was developed to the full seven notes, even to half and quarter notes, ages ago. India led in music.
- In music India gave to the world her system of notation, with the seven cardinal notes and the diatonic scale, all of which we enjoyed as early as 350 B.C., while it came to Europe only in the eleventh century.
- The greatest aid to this practice of keeping God in memory is, perhaps, music. The Lord says to Nârada, the great teacher of Bhakti, “I do not live in heaven, nor do I live in the heart of the Yogi, but where My devotees sing My praise, there am I”. Music has such tremendous power over the human mind; it brings it to concentration in a moment. You will find the dull, ignorant, low, brute-like human beings, who never steady their mind for a moment at other times, when they hear attractive music, immediately become charmed and concentrated. Even the minds of animals, such as dogs, lions, cats, and serpents, become charmed with music. - Swami Vivekananda -

The Holistic Approach is about- interacting and educating with real world, building social, emotional, physical and spiritual skills. The way Holistic Education works is by focusing teachers’ attention on the affinity of child’s mind towards the subject, physical and spiritual activities, we are bringing the holistic development. Children need to learn to first value themselves, what they are good at, and by recognizing this they will be able to do what they want in life.
